long shot

Hey!  Just a quick question-  We are going to Pittsburgh in March and I was wondering if anyone had any winter 2T boy clothes, or any winter 0-3 month girl clothes that they are not using and would like to get rid of?  Let know know prices and pics. We live in Florida and have NO winter wardrobe.  Thanks so much!  Sarah

Well, it is about time for another newsy post.  We are still here in Florida at my Dad's house waiting for Sam's backround check to be completed before he will receive an official offer of employment (we hope).  So while waiting we have been busy.  Sam is still working at the Pool doctor as a manager and it is going well.  I am working at Healthpark on Saturdays for a little extra cash and to keep up my nursing skills.  It is a long day, but it is good for me.  It is also good for Sam and Eli to have a daddy/son day.  Eli is huge.  He is taking steps- up to 5 at a time!  He turned nine months this week, hard to believe.  Right now he has a cold, so we are struggling to get through that, runny noses are not fun!  So it seems like things are pretty much the same on the homefront, but while we are here "waiting" God is showing us some great things.  We have the priviledge to go to Grace Baptist church and are loving it.  Sam and I teach Sunday school to the 4 year old class and it is great!  God is showing us that we can and should be useful for His kingdom wherever we are, even in limbo (or what appears to be limbo to us).  God is showing us patience and we are assured that His will will be done in His perfect timing.  And that may or may not enclude the government and we are finally ok with that.  So I will leave you with some pictures of our life recently!  God bless!

My baby is six months old today.  Where has the time gone?

The first time I ever saw his face.

When I look at Eli I wonder what he will do and what he will become, I worry if I am stimulating him enough or feeding him the right foods, or showing him that I love him enough, or giving him enough opportunity, but in the end I have concluded that all that matters is that "his faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:5  For him to know about Jesus and His love is what is most important, the rest will work itself out.

I love you my little boy!
